Until such time, we can no longer accept registrations for our “Naturally Curious” Summer Camps, or for our Fall classes.
During July and August we offer summer camps for children ages 3 – 12 years at our Taylor Street location, as well as Toddler Camp at York location for 1-3 year olds.
Summer camps are open to the public, with currently registered families being able to register first. At camps, your child will enjoy a variety of activities, lots of outdoor time, crafts and art projects, science experiments and free play, field trips within walking distance and lots more to keep your child happy, engaged and learning all summer.
Naturally Curious Camps are held at two classrooms at Wild Spirit Education as well as the gym space at Elmwood Residence (McNeil Fitness Center) behind our parking lot. There is a green outdoor space right next to our building where we spend most of our outside time.
The older children may go for walks in the neighborhood to parks/playgrounds, Eastview bowling alley, Market Mall (mini golf/Move N Soar/Children’s Museum) – if they are leaving our location an email will be sent to parents the evening before or a note will be posted to the door to let you know where they will be.
Address: 3002 Taylor Street East (Taylor and Arlington Ave.) Please come around to the back parking lot as we use the back door as our main entrance.
Phone Number: please call/text anytime 306-290-7206
Camp fees are due at the time of registration and are only refundable until June 1st. Your child’s space is not confirmed until fees have been received.
** Special Note** If your family has a currently registered student at Wild Spirit Education and they are continuing for the entire months of July and August, your fees will be due July 1st and August 1st as usual.
Fees can be paid by cheque (made out to Wild Spirit Education Ltd.), cash, e-transter (email@example.com), or credit card.

What to Expect Upon Arrival
Camp will be divided into two groups:
Group #1 Blue Group (ages 3yrs – 6yrs)
Group #2 Green Group (ages 7yrs – 12yrs)
When arriving please bring your child to their classroom (will be labeled on the door for each camp). They will have a name tag to find, while you sign them in. Staff will help them to find a space for their belongings.
Groups will have the opportunities if they would like do some activities in their own group and some activities together – so your child will be able to make friends (or see siblings) with all of the children over the course of a day!
Important: You will need to sign in your child at the beginning of the day and come to the classroom door at the end of the day to pick up and sign your child out. If someone other than a parent is picking up, we will need a written note/text/email (as well that person should be prepared to be asked for I.D).
Important Allergy Notice
We are a nut and cucumber alert facility. We do have both of these allergies in the building; please be aware and make a conscious effort to refrain from bringing food that contains these items.
What to Expect for the Day!
Your child will spend the day creating new friendships, developing a love of learning, spending time outdoors in their community, spending their summer in a peaceful and creative environment!
At Naturally Curious Summer camp we don’t plan “themes”. Our staff are well trained and experienced to observe how your children best learn, what they are interested in and guide them from there! We have a wide variety of activities to engage all age levels and interests! Your child will be led through group and individual activities that develop their social skills, leadership skills and independence! Everything from art projects, messy science, free play in the water, and everything in between! The children plan our days!
Our camps have a strong nature focus which provides your child with a holistic environment in which to play and learn! Nature is proven to calm the mind and de-stress the body; providing regular opportunities to be successful, develop self-esteem, with hands-on learning experiences.
The goal of our Naturally Curious Summer camp is to offer experiences and opportunities that will create a love of learning, love of nature, build their confidence and provide them with the knowledge that camp experiences are fun!
