Toddler Program

Wild Spirit Education's Toddler classroom is designed to be a gentle transition from home to school. Our environment offers your child a peaceful, nature-based program in order to encourage their natural development.

Wild Spirit Education's Toddler program is based on self-directed activities, hands-on learning, collaborative play with a strong focus on our natural environment.

In our classroom, children make creative choices in their learning, while the classroom and the teachers offer age-appropriate activities to guide their progress. Children can work independently,
in small groups, or with their Director to discover and explore each learning area.

The Toddler program is specifically designed to cater to the needs of young children by creating an environment that encourages sensory-based learning. The focus in this age group is to guide them through their growing need for independence, order, sensory exploration, movement, and language.

Activities are positioned around the room for toddlers to choose independently. The activities change and evolve as the child grows physically, emotionally, and intellectually.

Consistency is very important at this young age. At Wild Spirit Education we always strive to work with parents' needs and schedules. We have a three-day minimum attendance commitment. Parents can choose how many days a week (based on availability). This program is not a drop-in program, schedules must be arranged at registration. If you need to switch a day one week or change your schedule please just contact the office to make arrangements.
The Toddler Program runs Monday - Friday​

The Toddler Program is located in Partnership with Elmwood Residence at their location at 2012 Arlington Ave.
Transition to the Casa Program - Preschool / Kindergarten - occurs at the end of each school year. Children entering the Casa Program are typically 3-5 years old. Casa begins when a child is ready and a meeting scheduled will occur.​

In January, we hold Parent / Teacher meetings where we can discuss if your child is ready to move from the Toddler to Casa Program.
